早在Google为Google Latitude（中文叫谷歌纵横）推出 GTalk 插件以及网站嵌入插件时，
我就纳闷怎么 Google Profile 这个 Google 自家重点发展的东东还不支持 Latitude。

今天上午在 Google Operating System 那边看到，Latitude 地理信息终于能嵌入Google Profile 页面了。
Google Latitude 简单来说就是可以通过手机等各类终端实时更新你的地理位置信息，共享给朋友的服务。
即使你没有支持该服务的手机，也可以通过 iGoogle Gadget 的形式来手动更新你的位置信息。

如果你想在你的 Google Profile 页面中显示你最新的位置信息，请按照如下步骤设置：

  1. 在你的手机上安装 Latitude 软件，或是在 iGoogle 中添加 Latitude Gadget，总之要开始使用 Google Latitude.
  2. 在 Google Latitude 小插件页面中，开启（Enable）“Google Public Location Badge”，并自行设定显示地理信息的详细程度。设置地址。
  3. 进入你的 Google Profile 修改页面，你会发现在“Where I live now”框的下面，有一个勾选框叫“Display my Latitude Location”。勾选它。
  4. 然后更新一下你的 Latitude 信息，稍等片刻，在你的 Google Profile 页面中就会实时显示出你的位置信息。效果就如题图所示。
