关于《1984》中“He who...”这句名言的翻译，及命令与征服的出处
最近，无意间翻出了家里藏的“C&C” （命令与征服）系列游戏。在红色警戒里，注意到“He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past." 成了Kane 的名言。没错，就是那句出自奥威尔的小说《1984》中的名言。
一下子明白了，Command & Conquer （命令与征服）这个游戏名字的出处与寓意。西木头早就消逝于尘埃之中，看着手中的C&C系列，不禁莞尔时至如今才晓得这游戏想说什么。
说回“He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past.” 这句话。它的中文翻译普遍是“谁控制了过去，谁就拥有未来；谁掌控了现在，谁就控制过去。”
如粗体字所示，原文中似乎没有提到“现在”这个词……这是不是翻译有误？但感觉，中文逻辑上又很正确。疑惑中……
